C-COR Appoints Roger Sherwood to VP of Service and Development for Global On Demand and OSS.

) announced today that the Company has appointed Roger Sherwood to vice president of service and development for its On Demand and OSS Oss (ôs), city (1994 pop. 62,141), North Brabant prov., S Netherlands; chartered 1399. In his new role, Sherwood leads a consolidated technical support team responsible for the worldwide delivery, deployment, and support of C-COR's multiple On Demand and OSS product lines. Sherwood reports directly to John Caezza, president, C-COR's Broadband Systems Solutions, and is based out of C-COR's Beaverton, Oregon Beaverton is a city in Washington County, Oregon, United States, seven miles west of Portland in the Tualatin River Valley. Previously, Sherwood served as C-COR's director of customer solutions, EMEA (Europe, Middle East, Africa) Refers to that region of the world. Prior to C-COR, Sherwood served as systems engineering director for Sigma Systems where he built a technical support and solutions delivery team for major projects in Europe. Sherwood's previous roles include software integration, business development, and system design positions at XACCT Technologies (now Amdocs), Siemens Network Systems (now Affiniti), and Bay Networks EMEA (now Nortel Networks (Nortel Networks Limited, Brampton, Ontario, www.nortelnetworks.com) A world leader in telecommunications products, which includes switching, wireless and broadband systems for service providers and carriers, telephones and systems for residential and business users, computer telephony ).
