C I Host invites the public to its backyard this Friday afternoon from 2:30 to 4 p.m. to get a sneak preview of the NASCAR O'Reilly Auto Parts 300 race this weekend, take pictures with the car C I Host is sponsoring and have a chance to win two VIP pit passes.

Visitors will have the opportunity to meet NASCAR driver Derrike Cope, get his autograph and have their pictures taken with him and the DF2 Motorsports Chevrolet #94 that he will drive in the O'Reilly Auto Parts 300 on Saturday.

C I Host, in the latest in a series of quirky and effective marketing strategies, is a sponsor of Car #94, which is racing in NASCAR competitions throughout the country.

"We want to share the fun of this car with all of our friends and neighbors from the Dallas/Ft. Worth area and with the visitors who have traveled here to see the race," said Christopher Faulkner, 25-year-old CEO of C I Host. "It is such a joy for us to participate in the NASCAR circuit and in the exiting careers of its drivers, especially Derrike Cope."

Cope is a Winston Cup veteran and the O'Reilly 300 is one of the biggest Busch Series races of the season. The race, which begins at 1 p.m. on Saturday at the Texas Motor Speedway, is expected to draw more than 100,000 people, has a purse of $1.2 million and will be broadcast live on Fox television and PRN radio.

"We are extremely excited about C I Host's sponsorship of this car and their added involvement with us in the Texas race," said Fred Bickford, co-owner of the #94 team. "I recently had to work out this weekend's logistical details with Mr. Faulkner - who was in London at the time - through an Internet chat room, email and cell phones, and I was amazed by his efficiency and commitment to this program. We are definitely going to have fun this weekend!"

Faulkner and his crew would seem to be more at home figuring out how to make ones and zeros fly through fiber optic cable than how to make rubber and steel race across asphalt.

But that hasn't stopped the eggheads at C I Host from appreciating their gearhead counterparts on the NASCAR circuit - or recognizing a wise marketing move when it rolls up to their door.
