C&W lands 'blockbuster' assignment in Norwalk, CT.

 announced its appointment as exclusive leasing agent for i.park Norwalk at 761 Main Avenue, a 402,000 s/f office complex located on 30 acres.

The entire property will undergo a $50 million dollar interior and exterior makeover to transform it into a Class-A office development.

The newly branded development will follow ownership's "i.park" model of acquiring older corporate facilities located in strong office markets and converting them into "intelligent" and energy-efficient buildings that can offer office rents at 25% below market.

Renovations to the property have commenced with a new entrance and enlarged windows. The first tenant's space will be delivered in January 2007.

Cushman & Wakefield's Maureen O'Boyle, and Gerard Lees, senior directors, serve as the leasing team representing property ownership. An aggressive campaign has begun to market 402,000 square feet of available office space for multi-tenant or corporate headquarters use.
