C&W hires expand retail's reach into the suburbs.


Cushman & Wakefield announced the addition of retail brokerage professionals Michael Stone and Justin Stein to its fast growing Retail Services team in the New York metropolitan area New York–Northern New Jersey–Long Island is the most populous metropolitan area in the United States and the third most populous in the world, after Tokyo and Mexico City. .

Mr. Stone is a retail leasing-expert who brings both brokerage and legal experience to his work on behalf of many prominent owners and retailers in the New York area.

He joins Cushman & Wakefield as a director, and will lead the growth of Cushman & Wakefield's retail real estate practice in the New York area suburbs, including New Jersey, Long Island and Westchester. He was previously a vice president at CB Richard Ellis CB Richard Ellis Group, Inc. NYSE: CBG is a multinational real estate corporation currently based in Los Angeles, California, U.S.A.. On December 20, 2006, the corporation, also known as CBRE, completed acquisition of Trammell Crow Co. in a transaction valued at $2. , and an associate director at Robert K. Futterman & Associates in New York.

Mr. Stein, who joins the firm as an associate, was previously an industrial leasing specialist at CB Richard Ellis.

Prior to entering real estate, Mr. Stein was the former director of sales for Envision Initiatives, and has extensive experience in customer satisfaction and relationship management.

As a tenant representative, Mr. Stone also represents Wachovia Bank.

Prior to entering real estate, Mr. Stone was a practicing attorney, representing corporate clients on real estate transactions and negotiations, financial restructurings and related litigation An action brought in court to enforce a particular right. Mr. Stone is a member of the International Council of Shopping Centers The International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC) is an international trade association of the shopping center industry. The organization, founded in 1957, has 65,000 members worldwide, which include shopping center owners, developers and managers, as well as other individuals,  and the Real Estate Board of New York. He graduated from Fordham University and Touro College Law Center.

Mr. Stein holds a bachelor's degree in computer information systems from Bryant University and a master's in Information Systems from Steven's Institute of Technology.

In addition to his real estate activities, Mr. Stein is an avid golfer, ranked tennis player and a sought after instructor.
