C&W director wins tennis tournament. (Transcripts).


Cushman & Wakefield's Paul S. Moss, director of brokerage support operations in New York New York, state, United States

, recently won the Real Estate Board of New York's 16th annual Pro/Am Tennis Tournament as a member of the winning doubles team with his partner Juan Ignacio-Cerda.

Paul Glickman, a Cushman & Wakefield executive director in New York area brokerage, was a finalist in the consolation round with his partner Canuto Gutierrez, and was a member of the winning 12-member team in the tournament's team competition.

The Pro/Am tournament consisted of 24 current and former U.S. Open The term U.S. Open is applied to "open" United States national championships in a particular sport, in which anybody, amateur or professional, American or non-American may compete. These include:

Clown Care arranges for clowns to visit hospitals throughout the United States to entertain children who have serious illnesses.

"It was great to be part of an event that benefits less fortunate chil ken," said Moss. "It reflects well on the Real Estate Board of New York, which did a terrific job organizing this year's event."

Each 12-member team consisted of six amateurs and six professional tennis stars. Real estate executives from the winning team included Cushman & Wakefield's Glickman and Moss, Tim Barefield, Stephen DeNardo of River Oak Investments, Sam Lehrman of Sam Lehrman LLC (Logical Link Control) See "LANs" under data link protocol.

According to Glickman who is a member of the REBNY Pro/Am tournament committee, which designates charities to receive proceeds from the event, "It's more of a pleasure each year to be a part of this event as the tournament grows and we receive more involvement and support from members of the real estate community. We're already looking forward to next year."

The runners-up in the tournament's doubles competition were Anthony Malkin, president of W&M Properties, and Gene Mayer, a once top-five ranked player on the professional circuit.
