C&W brokers give to the community.The students of Public School 154 in the Bronx Bronx, river, c.20 mi (30 km) long, issuing from Kensico Reservoir, SE N.Y., and flowing SW through the Bronx into the East River. The Bronx River Parkway, one of the first limited-access highways in the New York City area, parallels a portion of the river. , also known as the Jonathan D. Hyatt School, received an added holiday bonus this year from the brokerage professionals at Cushman & Wakefield. Cushman & Wakefield's Emerging Brokers chose to sponsor P.S. 154 for a variety of reasons, including economic need, dedicated faculty and a very involved PTA. After each of the children received a gift, the remainder of the monetary donations went to providing the school with books and school supplies. "It was a very exciting and rewarding experience, something I am certain we will be involved with again," said Mr. Block. Mr. DeMatteis added, "It was a pleasure for us to become involved with the school on behalf of Cushman & Wakefield and to work with the parents and the faculty to make the holidays a little brighter for some great children."
