Katz and Tom Glerum complete the leasing transaction for the entire 197,000 square-foot building at 99 Jefferson Road in Parsippany, New Jersey. As of the United States 2000 Census, the township had a total population of 58,092. North Bergen was incorporated as a township on April 10, 1843, by an Act of the New Jersey Legislature, from Bergen . The proximity to New York City New York City: see New York, city. New York City City (pop., 2000: 8,008,278), southeastern New York, at the mouth of the Hudson River. The largest city in the U.S. , easy access for employees and increased ability to serve clients were aspects in signing the long term lease at this North Bergen location. Katz and Jef4f Heller represented EMCO Sales in the transaction. In a separate transaction, 47,000 square feet in the 465 Eagle Rock Avenue building in Roseland, New Jersey, was leased to Spectrum Press, Inc. The printing company signed a five-year lease and plans to use the space for manufacturing, said Katz, who added "Additonal space was needed for the expansion of new equipment and the building at 465 Eagle Rock Avenue is only one mile from their existing facility." Katz, with assistance from Dave Knee, also represented Morton International in the sale of 26 Daniel Road in Fairfield, New Jersey. The 33,630 square-foot building was purchased by New Age Metal Fabricating Company, Inc. which is moving from Commerce Road in Fairfield. The proximity to their current facility was a major factor in their decision to buy Morton Internation al's building. |
