C&W broker completes 460,000 s.f. in transactions.

Cushman & Wakefield of New Jersey's Ben Katz had complete four separate transactions for over 460,000 square feet of space in Northern New Jersey, announced Donald P. Eisen, managing director and branch manager of Cushman & Wakefield of New Jersey.

Katz and Tom Glerum complete the leasing transaction for the entire 197,000 square-foot building at 99 Jefferson Road in Parsippany, New Jersey. ADP, a data processing business, is moving from Clifton, New Jersey, and will use the building for its operation center and general office space. The quality, size and location of the building, as well as the regional access it allows, all factor into their decsion to lease the facility, commented Katz.

Location was also an important factor for ENCO Sales and Service, which has leased 185,000 square feet in the former Emerson Radio building at 5601 Westside Avenue in North Bergen, New Jersey. The proximity to New York City, easy access for employees and increased ability to serve clients were aspects in signing the long term lease at this North Bergen location. Katz and Jef4f Heller represented EMCO Sales in the transaction.

In a separate transaction, 47,000 square feet in the 465 Eagle Rock Avenue building in Roseland, New Jersey, was leased to Spectrum Press, Inc. The printing company signed a five-year lease and plans to use the space for manufacturing, said Katz, who added "Additonal space was needed for the expansion of new equipment and the building at 465 Eagle Rock Avenue is only one mile from their existing facility."

Katz, with assistance from Dave Knee, also represented Morton International in the sale of 26 Daniel Road in Fairfield, New Jersey. The 33,630 square-foot building was purchased by New Age Metal Fabricating Company, Inc. which is moving from Commerce Road in Fairfield. The proximity to their current facility was a major factor in their decision to buy Morton Internation al's building.
