C&W's Paul Korch named 'Fellow' of RICS.

Cushman & Wakefield's Paul Korch, a director in the firm's East Rutherford, N.J., Valuation Services--Capital Markets Group and a member of its Dispute Analysis & Litigation Support Practice, has been designated as a "Fellow" of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (FRICS).

Outside the United States and the Appraisal Institute's MAI designation, which Korch also holds, FRICS is the most recognized valuation designation in the world.

Korch joined Cushman & Wakefield's Valuation Group in 1986 and is actively involved in the appraisal of industrial, retail, office, multi-family residential property, fight-of-way condemnation, and special purpose property including truck terminals, manufacturing plants and waterfront parcels. He is qualified as an expert witness in various state and local courts, including New Jersey Tax Court, bankruptcy court and condemnation hearings.

Cushman & Wakefield is recognized internationally as the industry leader in valuation and also is well known for its high-quality appraisal standards. The company's Dispute Analysis & Litigation Support Practice provides a delivery platform for strategic services concerning the resolution of complex business disputes in high stakes, real estate-related litigation. In addition to the FRICS and MAI designations, Korch is a member of the Counselors of Real Estate (CRE) and a Certified Tax Assessor (CTA) in the State of New Jersey. He is a State Certified General Real Estate Appraiser in New Jersey and New York.

Korch has been a guest lecturer at the New Jersey Institute for Continuing Legal Education and the Regional Business Partnership regarding redevelopment issues, and Lucent Technologies regarding tax valuation and litigation on the property tax appeal process. He also has chaired numerous conferences for the Metro New Jersey Chapter of the Appraisal Institute and is currently the treasurer of the New Jersey Chapter of the Counselors of Real Estate. Korch earned a bachelor's degree in Business Administration from Fairleigh Dickinson University and has successfully completed seminars and workshops on various valuation and consultation methods and techniques.
