C&W's Mosler to be honored April 25. (Transcripts).

Cushman & Wakefield (C&W), the world's largest fully integrated commercial real estate services firm, announced that U.S. operations president Bruce E. Mosler will be honored as the United Way of New York/NFL Partnership's "2002 Star Community Quarterback," at the organization's annual All-Star Salute to Gridiron Greats awards dinner, April 25, at the Sheraton Hotel and Tower, Manhattan.

Mosler will be honored along with Eugene McGrath, chairman & CEO of Consolidated Edison Company of New York, Inc., for their support of the United Way of New York's programs and goals.

"I am honored to be recognized by the United Way of New York, which in the wake of Sept. 11, demonstrated more than ever that it was, and will continue to be, instrumental in aiding New Yorkers in that unique time of crisis," said Mosler. "Due to the on-going efforts of the many people who make contributions to the United Way, such efforts are not a new game plan for the United Way. It's the game plan United Way volunteers follow daily to get the ball over the goal line and help their fellow citizens."

As President of U.S. operations, Mosler played a significant role in bringing about the merger of Cushman Realty and C&W. The merger's outcome has produced a C&W that boasts strong, senior leadership from coast-to-coast.

Prior to becoming president of U.S. operations, Mosler was executive vice president of Cushman & Wakefield. He is also a member of the firm's Board of Directors and Global Management Committee.

As a brokerage professional, Mosler was one of the real estate industry's top earners and has been instrumental in some of Manhattan's largest leasing and sales transactions. Notably, he is a two-time recipient of the prestigious Real Estate Board of New York "Deal of the Year" award, for both office (Reuters transaction, 1999) and retail (Hennes & Mauritz, 2000). He co-brokered the successful consolidation of Reuters America Holdings, Inc. into 500,000 SF at 3 Times Square, an 855,000-SF joint venture between the Rudin family and Reuters America. Mosler also led the team that negotiated the 32,000-SF lease Hennes & Mauritz signed for its U.S. flagship store on Fifth Avenue in Manhattan.

In 1994, Mosler was voted by crain's New York Business as one of New York's "40 Under 40" leading executives in the city. In addition, he has been recognized for his ongoing representation of some of the nation's leading publishing, communications, and insurance companies. In addition to his prominence in New York, he has been responsible for numerous national and international transactions, including Reader's Digest in the U.K.
