C&W's Lauzon named 'Young Real Estate Man of the Year'. (Transcripts).


Mark F. Lauzon, a managing director of Cushman & Wakefield's Strategic Agency Services group, based in the firm's world headquarters in Midtown Manhattan, has been named the Young Real Estate Man of the Year by the Young Men's/Women's Real Estate Association-. The announcement was made recently at the Real Estate Board of New York's 107th Annual Banquet at the New York New York, state, United States
New York, Middle Atlantic state of the United States. It is bordered by Vermont, Massachusetts, Connecticut, and the Atlantic Ocean (E), New Jersey and Pennsylvania (S), Lakes Erie and Ontario and the Canadian province of
 Hilton.

The Young Men's/Women's Real Estate Association is a 54-year-old industry association, made up of more than 400 real estate professionals. In 2000, Lauzon was, the chairman of the association, and he has also served on the organization's' Board of Directors as governor in. 1999 and secretary in 1998. He continues to be an active member on the association's member--ship and issues and actions committees.

"I am honored to have been chosen for this award," said Lauzon. "Being an active member since 1992, I have always believed that the YM/WREA is the perfect venue for individuals pursuing a lifelong career in real estate."

At C&W, Lauzon is responsible for developing strategy and overseeing marketing and leasing for select agencies as well as securing new leasing agency assignments for the company.

The Strategic Agency Services group currently handles over 24 million SF in 46 buildings located in Manhattan and New Jersey. Lauzon specifically advises the ownership of office properties including the Fisk Fisk   , James 1834-1872.

Prior to joining C&W, Lauzon spent more than 16 years leasing and marketing commercial, office, and retail real estate at Rockefeller Center Rockefeller Center, complex of buildings in central Manhattan, New York City, between 48th and 51st streets and Fifth Ave. and the Ave. of the Americas (Sixth Ave.). The project was sponsored by John D. Rockefeller, Jr. , the world-renowned office, retail, and entertainment complex located in Midtown Manhattan.

From 1998 to 2001, he was director of leasing for Tishman Speyer Properties Tishman Speyer Properties is a leading real estate building and operating company set up in 1978 by two founding partners, Jerry Speyer and Robert Tishman. Overview , where he was responsible for marketing and leasing 7.5 million SF of commercial office space in the center.

Prior to Tishman. Speyer's ownership of Rockefeller Center, Lanzon was assistant vice president--of Rockefeller Management Corporation, where he was responsible for marketing and leasing the 15 million SF of commercial and retail space in Rockefeller Center, which at that time included the Center's Westside properties, namely 1211, 1221, 1251 and 1271 Avenue of the Americas.
