C&W's Jamie Katcher named Most Promising Salesperson.

The award, presented during the March 7 Members' Luncheon, recognizes the industry's most talented newcomers for their current and potential professional achievement, ethical standards, leadership and skill.

"In his short time in the real estate industry, Jamie Katcher has demonstrated an incredible amount of talent. His professionalism, dedication and ability have earned him the respect of his clients and his colleagues alike. Mr. Katcher's amazing potential truly makes him the most promising commercial salesperson in the industry," said Paul Massey of Massey Knakal and chairperson of REBNY's Commercial Board of Directors, who presented the award.

A member of the Cushman & Wakefield team since 2003, Mr. Katcher, has been involved in more than two dozen commercial real estate transactions totaling more than 500,000 square feet. Mr. Katcher's successful deals include the 56,000 square-foot lease for Moet Hennessy at 85 Tenth Avenue, the 42,000 square-foot lease renewal and expansion for DnB NOR DnB NOR (OSE: DNBNOR) is Norway's largest financial services group with total assets of more than NOK 1.8 trillion. The Group includes brands such as DnB NOR, Vital, Nordlandsbanken, Cresco, Postbanken, DnB NORD and Carlson. Katcher is a member of the Real Estate Board of New York and has shown a passion for real estate that goes above and beyond his obligations. He has devoted personal time to fundraising and other causes such as Junior Achievement, an organization dedicated to providing America's youth with better opportunities. At Cushman & Wakefield, he served as vice chair of external relations on the Emerging Brokerage Board where his work led to the establishment of Cushman & Wakefield's formal training program for young professionals.

The Most Promising Commercial Salesperson Award was created in 1996 by the Directors of REBNY's Commercial Brokerage Division to honor the industry's most promising newcomers.
