C&K Systems Introduces High Performance Color CCTV Camera; Sets New Price/Performance Standard for Security Applications.

FOLSOM, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Aug. 24, 1998--C&K Systems today announced the North American introduction of the IntelliSense(R) IV460, a high-resolution color CCTV camera that sets a new standard of quality and performance.

The IV460 makes the advanced features traditionally found in high-end CCTV cameras affordable for a wide range of security applications.

Using a 1/3" CCD sensor and Digital Signal Processing technology, the IV460 offers PrecisionID(TM), a package of advanced-performance features. PrecisionID delivers image details necessary for positive identification of a perpetrator -- details such as hair color or facial characteristics -- making the IV460 well-suited for CCTV observation, monitoring and surveillance.

--   A minimum illuminance level of 2.0 Lux at F1.2, enabling the
     camera to operate in very low light.

--   Adaptive backlight compensation to maintain the clarity of
     objects even in environments with intense backlighting.

--   A choice of four different white balance settings (automatic,
     manual, daylight and flourescent) to ensure a true representation
     of colors regardless of lighting conditions.

--   Image edge enhancement to strengthen the signal level on the
     edges and corners of the image, producing clearer, more distinct
     pictures.

The IV460 is compact in size, measuring 5 1/2" in length and weighing less than two pounds. It accommodates any CCTV camera lens, C or CS mount, and provides integrated Auto Iris controls through a convenient housing connector. With an operating temperature of 14 to 122 degrees F (-10 to 50 degrees C), the camera performs well under hot or cold conditions.

The IV460 uses an aluminum housing, which is superior to plastic for sealing out RF signals and protecting against vibration and mechanical shock. The housing's gold metallic finish gives it a distinctive, professional look.
