He said:"Next season I will be working hard, there is no doubt about it. I am not there to make up the numbers. I will start fresh, play well and see what happens from there. "If I get my chance in the pre-season I'm sure I will take it. I will work my socks off." Meanwhile, Hibs commercial director Fife Hyland insists Hughes' appointment has sparked a surge in season ticket sales. Hyland said: "There's been a real wave of enthusiasm since the manager was appointed and last weekend was our best of the year in terms of the number of season tickets and strips sold." |
