Telscape International, Inc. operates an integrated communications company focused on the voice, video, data and Internet markets in Latin America. Bynari provides Internet content, Web services and e-commerce solutions and embedded systems utilizing the popular Linux operating system. Bynari also focuses on emerging markets, especially Latin America.

Mr. Crist also has a significant track record in new business development. He was formerly President and Chief Executive Officer for Matrix, a telecommunications company which ranked No. 7 on the Inc. Magazine list of the 500 fastest growing private companies in the U.S in 1995. He also founded DNS (Domain Name System) A system for converting host names and domain names into IP addresses on the Internet or on local networks that use the TCP/IP protocol. For example, when a Web site address is given to the DNS either by typing a URL in a browser or behind the  Communications, a domestic long-distance company and served as its Chairman and Chief Executive Officer until its merger with Matrix.
