, Rich Beam and Tom Purtzer, will face off in a two-day PlayStation "Hot Shots Golf 2" golf game tournament -- with the finals set for Tuesday, January 11 at 2 p.m. The grand finale will air live on the Sony JumboTron located just off the 18th green. The JumboTron will be in operation during the entire tournament to give golfers and fans the opportunity to see play from the entire course.

Sony in cooperation with Sportvision, will introduce the new Tee Velocity system. Tee Velocity is a cutting-edge product designed to provide golf fans watching the ESPN ESPN Entertainment and Sports Programming Network  broadcast with never-before-seen digital information on the speed of a PGA TOUR player's swing and the exit velocity of the ball off the tee.

In addition to displaying golf and technology, Sony will host a variety of celebrity events, beginning with the official Pro-Am Draw Party hosted by Donny and Marie Osmond, of Sony Pictures "Donny and Marie Show," on January 11. A silent auction will take place during the draw party showcasing Sony Pictures, Sony Music and Sony Electronic merchandise with proceeds to benefit the "Friends of Hawaii Charities."

Sony recording star Kenny Loggins will sing several of his favorite songs for the children at Kapiolani Medical Center for Women and Children on Thursday, January 13 at 2:30 p.m. Later that evening, Loggins will perform live in concert for Sony VIP's and sponsors at the Hilton Hawaiian Village The Hilton Hawaiian Village Beach Resort and Spa, formerly the Kaiser Hawaiian Village Hotel, is one of the most popular hotels in Waikiki — based on name recognition and visitor statistics — on the Hawaiian island of O'ahu. .

On Sunday, January 16, the tournament's final day, one lucky golfer will have the chance to win $1 million by making a 100-yard hole-in-one. Qualifiers include the grand prize winner from the Sony/Family Golf Centers promotion, the San Francisco Sony Metreon promotion and other lucky participants who qualify in Hawaii. However, one special participant is a member of the Bump family. Brandy Bump wrote a letter to Sony's Donny and Marie Show explaining why her mom, a cancer survivor, is her hero. Donny and Marie were so touched by Brandy's letter, they awarded the family a well-deserved vacation to the Sony Open and a chance at the million dollar shot.
