FORGET about Heartbeat's Jason Durr being Aidensfield's resident heartthrob, there's a new guy in town that's set to steal the title. For handsome actor Julian Ovenden is undoubtedly about to become a household name as dashing doctor David Cheriton in the new Heartbeat spin-off The Royal.

Viewers will have seen the 26-yearold before in Foyle's War, and the eagle-eyed amongst them will remember him as the new boy in the office in the recent Diet Coke ads. But his star is set to rise playing the determined young doctor from London who finds himself working in Aidensfield's small and very limited hospital.

Taking the lead role in the high profile new drama, which follows the lives of those who work in St Aiden's Royal Free Hospital, must have been a nerve-wracking experience for the actor, who is better known for his
