Your Say.If the Government made St George's Day St. George's Day is celebrated by several nations of whom Saint George is the patron saint, including England, Portugal, Georgia, Serbia, Bulgaria, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Republic of Macedonia and the Gora. For England, St. George's Day also marks its National Day. a recognised holiday in England, would we then see a few more flags instead of the apathetic ap·a·thet·ic adj. Lacking interest or concern; indifferent. ap a·thet non-display now? Is there something to be ashamed of in our heritage?

Higgs' sentiments about the lack of George Cross flags on view on
April 23 (Put Out The Flags, 30.04.09). I didn't see any in my
area, except the two I hung out and two on a passing taxi..
