BuyDRM's Christopher Levy to Offer Workshop, Head Panel at Streaming Media West; 'Digital Rights Management 101' and 'Monetizing Streaming Assets' in San Jose Next Week.

LOS ANGELES -- Christopher Levy, the entrepreneurial founder and CEO of BuyDRM(TM), which helps market, monetize and monitor digital media assets online, will present a workshop and head a panel on digital rights management at Streaming Media West at the San Jose Convention Center next week.

On November 14, "Digital Rights Management 101," a three-hour pre-conference workshop, will be offered by Levy and open to all show attendees.

--The workshop will focus on "the nuts and bolts of the pay media industry, which is projected to pass $3 billion in revenue this year," said Levy. It will spotlight e-commerce-enabled digital rights management, business models and conventional marketing techniques, and how to use DRM in peer-to-peer networks to more effectively market, monetize and monitor content.

On Tuesday, November 15, "Digital Rights Management: Monetizing Streaming Assets," a one-hour panel discussion, will be presented with Levy as moderator and Alex Rofman of SNOCAP, Naveen Jain of SparkArt, and Randall Crockett of DRM Networks as panelists.

--The panel will focus on issues surrounding the successful deployment of DRM-enabled digital media for downloads and streaming business models and offer insights on payment processing, content encryption, defining licensing and business models.
