A UNIVERSITY lecturer dropped his trousers and pressed himself against a total stranger on a bus for kicks.

Pervert Paul Rosenberg yesterday admitted rubbing himself up against the shocked 42-year-old woman passenger.

Perth Sheriff Court heard married Rosenberg sat next to the woman on the service from Glasgow to Inverness and rubbed his buttocks against her.

Rosenberg, who lectured at Glasgow University, later admitted he just wanted "some light sexual stimulation" on the bus.

His victim fled from the bus at its first scheduled stop in Perth.

Loosened Rosenberg, 64, of Glenwood Drive, Thornliebank, Glasgow, admitted breaching the peace on March 6 by acting in a disorderly manner.

Lucy Keane, prosecuting, said: "During the course of the journey, she became aware he had altered his seating position, in the sense that his body was pressing up against her.

"Things then got worse because she looked down and noticed Rosenberg had now loosened his belt and trousers. His underwear and the top part of his legs were visible."

Rosenberg was placed on the sex offenders' register for three years and put on probation for the same period. He was also ordered to attend a rehabilitation course for sex offenders.
