Butt out, SSP tells Galloway.

He also threatened to bring his anti-war Respect Party to Scotland to take on the divided SSP.

The controversial MP had declared: "I want the SSP to get back to where they were. To do that they are going to have to put Tommy Sheridan back in the saddle.

"If it fails, we will have to reconsider our decision to stay out of Scotland."

Sheridan has sparked a damaging row in the SSP by accusing other MSPs of telling "vile lies" about him.

The party leadership rubbished his claims although Sheridan - who stepped down in 2004 following revelations about his private life - was not censured over his remarks.
