Avcon's Newton facility completed the installation on the NCAA's Model 35A Learjet aircraft, based in Kansas City Kansas City, two adjacent cities of the same name, one (1990 pop. 149,767), seat of Wyandotte co., NE Kansas (inc. 1859), the other (1990 pop. 435,146), Clay, Jackson, and Platte counties, NW Mo. (inc. 1850). .

Larry Franke, Avcon's vice president of sales and operations, estimates that there are approximately 1,000 aircraft in the Learjet fleet that are potential candidates for an AVCON FIN modification. According to according to

Bulter National Corp. operates in the aerospace and services business segments. The Services segment includes food distribution, electronic monitoring of water pumping stations, temporary employee services and plans to include management services for Indian gaming enterprises. Aerospace includes the manufacture of switching equipment for McDonnell-Douglas aircraft and structural modification of business aircraft.
