Busted blend is big hit with teen crowd; LIVE REVIEW.

Byline: KATH KATH Katholisch (German: Catholic)
KATH Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital (Kumasi, Ghana)
 BENNETT

CHEERS and screams echoed around the Clyde Auditorium before Busted had even arrived on stage.

With low-slung guitars and wholesome good looks, the band had won the crowd without singing a note.

Opening with chart-topping hit You Said No, the pop-rock sensations had their teenage fans shrieking with excitement.

Egged on by Matt, even the parents present happily chanted the lyrics to the band's first big hit - What I Go To School For.

The promise of being on the next single was too big a chance to pass up - surprisingly the keyed- up audience sang in tune and needed no accompaniment.

The gig had its dodgy dodgy - Synonym with flaky. Preferred outside the US  moments - Charlie standing in a Christ-like pose bathed in white light being a prime example.

Blink 182 they are not - but Busted have brought something new to the British music scene.

Charlie's bushy bush·y
adj. bush·i·er, bush·i·est
1. Overgrown with bushes.

2. Thick and shaggy: a bushy head of hair.
eyebrows aside, as teen music goes, this band might have what it takes to last.
