Businessman drove into parking warden.


AN international businessman yesterday admitted driving into a parking attendant and leaving him injured.

Tomasz Cegielski suffered head and leg injuries and was knocked unconscious when he was hit by a car in St Giles Street, Northampton, on March 12.

, 60, pleaded guilty to dangerous driving and failing to stop at the scene at Northampton Crown Court.

At a previous hearing, the court heard the director, who has a 10% shareholding in a large car parts company, committed the offences after Mr Cegielski began writing out a parking ticket for his silver Mercedes.

The prosecution alleged Hudson got into his car and started to drive off, causing Mr Cegielski to fall on to the car bonnet bonnet

The case was adjourned for a pre-sentence report to be prepared. Hudson, who has lived in the UK for the last 12 years, was granted bail
