Businesses Can Now Offer Customers Quick, Easy Faxing With AT&T's New 800 Inbound Fax Service.

 Fax feature for AT&T Enhanced FAX, a service which provides a secure store-and-forward delivery of fax transmissions worldwide.

The Inbound FAX feature is ideal for businesses and organizations that receive an influx of faxes during the normal course of business. Examples of these include:

-- claims forms from clients or claims approvals from agents to insurance companies;

-- mortgage and credit applications and approvals to financial institutions;

-- customer warranty cards to manufacturing companies;

-- registration forms to schools, conventions and conferences;

-- product information requests to marketing/sales companies;

-- mobile fax mailbox A simulated mailbox in the computer that holds e-mail messages. Mailboxes are stored on disk as a file of messages, a database of messages or as an individual file for each message. With the Inbound FAX feature, subscribers provide their customers with a specially assigned 800 number that issues a fax tone when dialed. The fax is immediately submitted to the AT&T network, so that the sender never encounters a busy signal, and is deposited in the subscriber's mailbox. Subscribers can retrieve faxes whenever convenient. Inbound FAX simplifies traditional faxing procedures for subscribers' customers while providing a secure collection point by utilizing the AT&T network. Subscribers can take advantage of all of the Enhanced Fax capabilities which include the ability to receive faxes from a mailbox, autoforwarding of fax messages to those involved in the fulfillment ful·fill also ful·fil
