Businesses' views wanted.


Businesses in a Northumberland town are being asked to share their ideas on boosting the borough's economy.

An online survey has been launched by Castle Morpeth Castle Morpeth is a local government district and borough in Northumberland, England. Its administrative centre is Morpeth.

The district was formed on April 1, 1974 by the merger of the borough of Morpeth and Morpeth Rural District, along with part of Castle Ward Rural
 Business Forum, which has more than 250 members. It aims to collect views from businesses of all sizes and from all sectors.

The first business to take part was Meldon Park-based Flying Fox Sales and Marketing Solutions.

Founder James Cookson said: "My business has been in Castle Morpeth for four years.

"It was initially difficult, however, to find suitable office accommodation, and therefore I had to locate my business at my home.

"I really feel that the lack of affordable office space in the area is something the council and its partners should be doing something about."
