Hartford Financial Products, a unit of Hartford Financial Services, has launched The Hartford Professional Choice Liability Policy. The product is designed for small to medium-size firms and their employees in the business-services industry, including market researchers, loss-control specialists, franchisers, contest managers, advertising and public-relations firms, third-party administrators, temporary staffing firms and trustees. Also known as errors and omissions errors and omissions n. short-hand for malpractice insurance which gives physicians, attorneys, architects, accountants and other professionals coverage for claims by patients and clients for alleged professional errors and omissions which amount to negligence. insurance, the product protects when an action, or failure to take action, results in financial damage to a client.
