Business Journal has been named the nation's best regional weekly by the Association of Area Business Publications. The award, one of five the Business Journal received during the AABP's annual conference last week in Chicago, was for overall excellence among large tabloids (those with annual revenues of more than $1.5 million) and covered calendar year 2003. In recognizing the Business Journal, the judges concluded that the paper "includes a wealth of enterprise reporting With the dramatic expansion of information technology, and the desire for increased competitiveness in corporations, there has been an increase in the use of computing power to produce unified reports which join different views of the enterprise in one place. , good story variety, and solid in-depth coverage.
