A MAJOR conference to get businesses on the road to success is coming to Tyneside For the 1885–1918 parliamentary constituency, see .

Business Link is hosting the North East Regional Business Fair at Newcastle Racecourse Newcastle Racecourse is a horse racing course located at Gosforth Park near Newcastle, England. It stages both flat and National Hunt racing, with its biggest meeting being the Northumberland Plate held annually in June.  in February February: see month. .

The event will offer new opportunities to the region's companies to develop business and find new contacts.

The two-day event is designed to support companies from all industries identified by One North East's Regional Economic Strategy.

These include automotive, chemicals, creative, defence and marine, energy, food and drink, healthcare, knowledge-intensive business services and tourism.

The event will cover a wide range of business topics with the aim of encouraging the region's firms to develop and grow.

A support and advice stand will be on offer to give new businesses guidance on how to succeed.
