Business at the speed of Lifebook. (High Tech).Fujitsu Canada recently released its new LifeBook C2110 model, featuring Intel's new Mobile Pentium 4 processor-M running at 1.6GHz and the Intel 845MP chipset. The new LifeBook C Series is Fujitsu's all-in-one advanced multimedia notebook, offering increased audio, communications, entertainment, and digital video and imaging capabilities thanks to the adoption of Intel's Latest mobile processor. The new notebook incorporates a 15-inch XGA display and comes standard with 256MB DDR266 onboard system memory upgradeable to 512MB, a nine-cell Lithium ion battery and two Type II or one Type III PC card slots. It features a built-in modem and Ethernet ports as part of its standard configuration, making it perfect for any type of networking environment. Fujitsu plans to maximize the functionality of Intel's new processor through the integration of WiFi[TM] -- compliant wireless LAN (IEEE 802.11b) technology. This option will allow users to seamlessly roam throughout a wireless network and promotes the ability to compute anywhere. Additionally, Fujitsu has included an S-video out port so users can connect their notebook to a television or projector. An optical digital out (SPDIF) port, for transferring digital audio to a mini-disc recorder, and an IEEE 1394 port are included as part of its standard configuration for fast digital video and data transfer.
