NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Jan. 24, 2002

In recognition of the key role she has played in Business Wire's dramatic sales growth and new product development, veteran staffer Laura Sturaitis of Fort Lauderdale Fort Lauderdale (lô`dərdāl), residential, commercial, and resort city (1990 pop. 149,377), seat of Broward co., SE Fla., on the Atlantic coast; settled around a fort built (c.1837) in the Seminole War, inc. 1911.  has been promoted to vice president of New Media Development at the company recently concluded national sales meeting, Cathy Baron Tamraz, chief operating officer Chief Operating Officer (COO)
