Business Wire Global and Poland's PAP Enter Into News Distribution Agreement.


SAN FRANCISCO--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Nov. 9, 1998--Business Wire Global, expanding its presence in Central Europe Central Europe is the region lying between the variously and vaguely defined areas of Eastern and Western Europe. In addition, Northern, Southern and Southeastern Europe may variously delimit or overlap into Central Europe. , has reached a media distribution agreement with Polska Agencja Prasowa (PAP), the leading Polish news agency.

The accord enables Business Wire members to reach all of Poland's national dailies, including Gazeta Wyborcza, Rzeczpospolita, Express Wieczorny and Zycie Warszawy.

The PAP network also reaches Poland's leading television networks, Telewizja Polska, the state-owned public television company, and Polsat, most regional dailies, leading government institutions and a growing number of corporate clients.

The cost for the new circuit is $250/400 words; $65 for each additional 100 words, substantially less than competitive news distribution services. The price includes translation into Polish.
