Business Wire Expands Dick Bromley's Management Duties to Include Scandinavian Market.

LONDON -- Richard "Dick" Bromley, Business Wire's United Kingdom manager, has added the Scandinavian market to his management portfolio, Cathy Baron Tamraz, president, announced today.

Anna Hallen, Business Wire's Scandinavian account manager based in Stockholm, will report to Bromley. They will jointly develop sales and marketing strategies to expand Business Wire's presence in the Nordic region.

"Dick has been a key contributor to Business Wire's double-digit sales growth in Europe this year. His accomplishments are especially impressive given the fact that our major European competitors have retrenched their operations in recent months," said Tamraz.

"This appointment recognizes Dick's proven management skills and sets the stage for Business Wire's future growth in Europe," added Gregg Castano, senior vice president, global sales. "Under Dick's leadership, we're confident that Business Wire will register strong sales growth in Sweden, Finland, Denmark, and Norway."

Bromley will benefit from a solid distribution network: Business Wire is the only U.S.-based commercial news service that has direct access to the four Nordic news agencies: TT (Sweden), NTB NTB Non-Tariff Barriers
NTB National Tire and Battery
NTB Norsk Telegrambyrå
NTB NASA Tech Briefs (NASA magazine/newsletter)
NTB No Turning Back (band)
NTB Nuclear Test Ban
NTB Not Too Bad
