Business Wire Debuts Major Enhancements to its NewsTrak Access Report.


New Measurement Data; Report Now Available for Two Years

SAN FRANCISCO San Francisco (săn frănsĭs`kō), city (1990 pop. 723,959), coextensive with San Francisco co., W Calif., on the tip of a peninsula between the Pacific Ocean and San Francisco Bay, which are connected by the strait known as the Golden  -- Business Wire today announced major enhancements to NewsTrak Access, a measurement report which provides Business Wire members with value-added information of some online activity for their press release.

NewsTrak Access provides a summary of viewer interaction from BusinessWire.com and BusinessWire.com-hosted news pages, in addition to other sites for some portions of the report. The new report comprises of two viewer communities: Journalists registered with PressPass, an online service exclusively for members of the media; and a second section encompassing all registered users of BusinessWire.com as well as unregistered users and/or media.

Key new additions to NewsTrak Access include:

* Search Terms: The report has added search terms used to find the press release. This valuable information can be incorporated into future news releases to improve search optimization Search optimization may refer to:

* Referral Links: This new feature identifies web pages from which users clicked through to releases on the Business Wire site from other sites such as CNN CNN
 or Cable News Network

* Link Report: This provides the number of clicks occurring on links in the news release text as submitted by the Business Wire member.

* Social Media: If someone viewing the press release submits it to a social media site such as FaceBook or MySpace, NewsTrak Access will include these details.

NewsTrak Access will continuously update for two years - a 2300% increase from the previous one month availability. The report is now better organized and includes more graphics and charts to better understand the information.
