Business Technology Partners Expands Senior Management Team to Keep Pace with Strong Demand for Large-Scale IT Deployments.

NEW YORK -- Business Technology Partners (BTP), Inc., one of New York City's premier IT consulting firms, announced today the expansion of its executive management team with the hiring of industry veterans John Hassett, Chen Vanunu, and Lara Lee Hullinghorst. Headquartered at the center of Wall Street, BTP has been instrumental in helping law and accounting firms, financial institutions, real estate developers, and healthcare facilities throughout the tri-state area architect, design and deploy all types of large-scale networking, telephony, audiovisual, and security projects.

John Hassett joins BTP as a Principal after a 17-year successful IT consulting career with Constantin Walsh-Lowe. Throughout his tenure, Mr. Hassett has developed business and managed the design and implementation of many large-scale technology infrastructure systems for major tri-state area corporate real estate developments. He managed such projects as The New York Times Building (a new 52-story development in Times Square), Merrill Lynch's 450-acre Hopewell, NJ Campus (an attractive, state-of-the-art workplace for nearly 5,000 Merrill Lynch employees), and the Sheraton New York Hotel on 7th Avenue. Mr. Hassett will be responsible for business development of BTP's Technology Architecture & Engineering practice, and will work to grow the firm's involvement in several ongoing major projects such as the new Trump SoHo Hotel and the expansion of St. Peters Medical Center in Albany, NY.

Chen Vanunu has been appointed Manager of Technology Architecture & Engineering and joins BTP after seven years with CMS Innovative Consultants where he led many successful audiovisual design and implementation projects with The Hurst Tower, CBS, Time Inc., Lehman Brothers, AIG, Bank of America, General Dynamics, Gibbons PC, White & Case, and the World Bank located in Washington, DC. He will be responsible for all technology infrastructure design and engineering initiatives for structured cabling, audiovisual systems, and physical security systems related to real estate development, corporate relocation, and renovation projects. This will include design and construction administration, as well as coordinating projects with architects, engineers, owners' representatives, project managers, installation contractors, and construction firms within the industry.

Lara Lee Hullinghorst rejoins BTP as Director of Operations after previously leaving for a sabbatical. She has a rich background in consulting, business operations, and managing corporate relocation and development projects in New York for hospitality, commercial real estate and professional services organizations. As part of her new responsibilities, Ms. Hullinghorst will lead the firm's internal operations, including accounting, marketing, HR and procurement. She will also oversee BTP's efforts on several critical technology support accounts and corporate relocation projects.
