Business Resource Group Announces Acquisition of Modern Office Interiors; Marks Entry into Research Triangle Park, North Carolina.

SAN JOSE, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Aug. 16, 1999--

Business Resource Group (BRG) (Nasdaq:BRGP) today announced that it has acquired Modern Office Interiors (MOI), a supplier of office furniture and related services, headquartered in Research Triangle Park (RTP), North Carolina. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed. BRG indicated that it believes the acquisition of MOI will be accretive to BRG earnings.

MOI, which will be operated as a wholly-owned subsidiary of BRG, has sales offices in both Morrisville, North Carolina (RTP) and Greensboro, North Carolina. Founded in 1990, the company had annual revenues of approximately $5 million in 1998 and employs 35 people. The company's business consists primarily of the sale of its Syspace (TM) furniture systems and the sale of used and refurbished office furniture. Richard Nellis and Craig Parr, two of the founders will continue to manage the operations of the subsidiary.
