New Role Emphasizes Strategic Value of

Business Intelligence in Latin American Region

Business Objects (Nasdaq:BOBJ BOBJ Business Objects SA ), the world's leading provider of business intelligence (BI) solutions, today announced that it has named Tomas Helou to the position of vice president, Latin America Latin America, the Spanish-speaking, Portuguese-speaking, and French-speaking countries (except Canada) of North America, South America, Central America, and the West Indies. . Reporting to Jon Temple, senior vice president and general manager of Business Objects Americas, Helou will focus on building a strong team to serve the emerging business intelligence market in Latin America.
