Business Objects Founders Named by BusinessWeek as "Hottest Entrepreneurs of the Year"; Liautaud and Payre on Exclusive List of 10 Entrepreneurs Including Spielberg, Clark, and Jobs.


CUPERTINO, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Jan. 10, 1996--Business Objects today announced that company founders Bernard Liautaud and Denis Denis, king of Portugal: see Diniz.  Payre have been recognized by BusinessWeek as "Hottest Entrepreneurs" in its Jan. 8, 1996 issue.

Liautaud and Payre are profiled among an exclusive list of entrepreneurs including James Clark and Marc Andreesen of Netscape Communications; Steven Spielberg, Jeffrey Katzenberg, and David Geffen of DreamWorks; and Steve Jobs of Pixar Animation Studios.

Liautaud and Payre founded Business Objects in 1990, and have grown the company to more than $30M in revenue and 325 employees worldwide in just four years.
