With this agreement, Crystal Reports(R) has been bundled with Borland's latest release of JBuilder(R), a leading integrated development environment (IDE) for building enterprise Java applications. This partnership is designed to enable developers to easily build enterprise reporting capabilities into their Java applications and to simplify the process of accessing and reporting on data.

Business Objects has had a long-standing relationship with Borland and is integrated in several of its development products. Crystal Reports for JBuilder 2005, launched in August 2004, enables developers to embed reporting into applications so they can focus on the business logic of applications. This agreement is an extension of the original partnership between Business Objects and Borland, whereby Crystal Reports was included in previous versions of Borland JBuilder and C#Builder(TM) for the Microsoft(R) .NET Framework.
