Business Objects Expands Presence in China; Announces Localized Award-Winning Business Intelligence Suite and Appoints New Master Reseller Partner.

Business Objects (Nasdaq:BOBJ BOBJ Business Objects SA ), the world's leading provider of business intelligence (BI) solutions, today announced the Chinese version of BusinessObjects(TM) 2000. Released in the US in July 2000, BusinessObjects(TM) 2000 is a strategic business intelligence platform and integrated BI toolset that enables users to access, analyze, and share information within and beyond the enterprise.

BusinessObjects 2000 (Chinese) includes the key products BusinessObjects(TM), BusinessObjects(TM) InfoView, WebIntelligence(R), and BusinessObjects(TM) Broadcast Agent. This integrated suite of BI tools provides query and reporting capabilities in web and windows environments, as well as a business intelligence portal A corporate portal that enables users to query and produce reports on enterprise-wide databases. The term was coined by Information Advantage, makers of the MyEureka software, which was the first to combine BI software with a corporate portal.
