Business Layers, a leader in eProvisioning solutions, today announced that they have joined Check Point Software Technologies' (NASDAQ: CHKP) OPSEC(TM) Alliance. The collaboration with Check Point Software, the leader in securing the Internet, is an important step in realizing the vision of managing the extended enterprises' entire digital infrastructure via directory services. This will provide customers with the ability to securely streamline the process of provisioning digital resources.

Check Point's OPSEC Alliance brings together industry leaders to create an easy-to-manage, standards-based security solution for Internet and intranet computing environments. Business Layers' eProvisionware(TM) products will be made OPSEC-compliant to ensure interoperability with Check Point(TM) VPN-1 solutions and Check Point FireWall-1(R). VPN-1 and Firewall-1 are the first security products that utilize the power of enterprise directory servers using the LDAP protocol. Business Layers eProvisionware leverages on this capability by automatically creating and managing the user account information stored in the directory to streamline the provisioning of digital resources.
