Business Layers' Announces eProvisionware-TM- Support For Novell; Directory Services -NDS- Directory-based eProvisioning-TM- Available for NDS Customers.

Business Layers announced today that eProvisionware(TM), their directory-based eProvisioning solution, will support Novell Directory Services (NDS). For the first time, NDS customers will be able to seamlessly eProvision their networks using their already deployed directories. eProvisioning is the process of providing digital resources and services, according to business requirements.

By leveraging existing digital data repositories, such as databases and directories, Business Layers' eProvisionware(TM) products are able to access an organizations entire infrastructure and drive the provisioning process. The initial release of eProvisionware addresses the business challenge of handling employee change management effectively, by streamlining and automating the provisioning of digital resources associated with employee changes. Digital resources such as network access, application passwords, database profiles, and customer and vendor access can be any asset or service that resides electronically and can be accessed via an intranet, extranet or the Internet.

For example, the integration of new employees into an organization requires the allocation of numerous digital tasks such as equipment procurement, password allocation, security clearance level, Internet access and many others. Furthermore, getting ex-employees "out of the system" with the touch of a button is a critical task, yet one that is currently not feasible.
