The Meyer Memorial Trust has made the following grants: $50,000 to Goodwill Industries of Lane County to renovate space for activities for adults with disabilities; and $5,000 to the Center for Community Counseling Community counseling is a generic term for any kind of professional counseling that occurs outside a hospital setting.  in Eugene for technical assistance to develop a long-term funding plan.

The Chambers Family Foundation in Eugene has given $2,000 to the Friends of Buford Park and Mt. Pisgah's Volunteer Involvement Project.

As part of a Lowell High School program, the Weyerhaeuser employees helped remove harmful fish from Dexter dexter /dex·ter/ (deks´ter) [L.] right; on the right side.
