DONATIONS

Retailer Target Corp. has donated $4,000 to the child abuse prevention program of the Center for Community Counseling in Eugene.

 Society of Lane County has received the following: $25,000 from the Paul G. Allen Charitable Foundation for a rental rehabilitation program; for an intervention program for at-risk boys, $10,000 from the McKay Family Foundation, $5,000 from the PeaceHealth Employee Council, and $1,000 from the St. Martin de Porres Foundation; and $2,000 from Eagle's View Management for the agency's family center.

The Weyerhaeuser Company Foundation has awarded the following: $2,500 each to The Arc of Lane County, the South Lane School District, and Willamette Valley Babe Ruth Baseball. Arc will use the money for an after-school program for children with developmental disabilities; the school district will use the money to buy computer software to be used by students; the baseball group will use the money to continue work on its west Eugene sports complex. Also, Cottage Grove High School Cottage Grove High School is a public high school located in Cottage Grove, Oregon. It has a newer school building, opened in 2003 to replace the old high school building that was built in 1939 and held its first classes in 1940.  received $1,000 from the foundation to buy video equipment for English and drama classes, and the Springfield Public Library's Library Card Scholarship Fund received $1,000.

The Springfield Ribbon of Promise, a campaign to end school violence, has received the following donations: $1,012 from JETS Promotions Inc.; $10,000 from the Woodard Family Foundation; and $12,000 in golf tournament proceeds from the Valley River Inn in Eugene.

The Oregon Trail Council of the Boy Scouts of America Noun 1. Boy Scouts of America - a corporation that operates through a national council that charters local councils all over the United States; the purpose is character building and citizenship training  received $3,450 from Monaco Coach Corp.

Springfield/Eugene Habitat for Humanity Habitat for Humanity, nonprofit ecumenical Christian organization that enables low-income people to own affordable, livable housing. Headquartered in Americus, Ga., it was founded in 1976 by businessman Millard Fuller and his wife.  received $10,000 from the Chambers Family Foundation to help build a residential subdivision in Springfield.

Express Personnel Services in Eugene has donated $500 to Northwest Christian College Northwest Christian College is a private, liberal arts college located in Eugene, Oregon and is affiliated with the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) and the Independent Christian Churches/Churches of Christ.  to be used as a scholarship.

 Credit Union has donated $26,745 to school programs in Lane and Deschutes counties.

Northwest Youth Corps in Eugene has received the following: $25,470 worth of production work by National Meeting Co. and FunnelBox Mediaworks to create a new video; a total of $20,000 from The Ben B. Cheney Foundation, the Collins Foundation, and theJackson Foundation for new camping and work gear; $7,139 from the L.L. Stewart Pass-Through Fund of the Oregon Community Foundation and the Evergreen Hill Fund of the Oregon Community Foundation for work at the Collier State Park and Logging Museum and marketing of Youth Corps programs; $9,946 in cash, services and products from Associated Oregon Loggers, Balance Restoration Nursery, Jerry's Home Improvement Center and Clippernet Inc; and $1,000 worth of products from the REI Eugene store.

Camp Fire USA

Camp Fire USA is a nationwide youth organization that began on March 17, 1910 as Camp Fire Girls. The organization has been co-ed since 1975 and has youth from pre-kindergarten through age 21.
 Wilani Council has received the following: $20,000 from Eagle's View Management for the Camp Wilani renovation project; $3,000 from Sony Disc Manufacturing and $2,000 from The Chambers Family Foundation for an esteem-building program in area schools; and $500 from Wal-Mart of Eugene for a habitat restoration project.

SERVICES

Eugene-based printing company IP/Koke donated printing services totalling $8,500 to the following groups: United Way/FOOD for Lane County; McKenzie Willamette Hospital Foundation; Kidsports; Eugene Concert Choir Eugene Concert Choir is a non-profit choral organization based in Eugene, Oregon, United States. It consists of two mixed-voice choruses: the 100-member Eugene Concert Choir (ECC), and the semi-professional chamber group Eugene Vocal Arts Ensemble (EVAE). ; and Veterans of Foreign Wars.
