It is owned and operated by the City of Bangor and was formerly Dow Air Force Base. and New York's LaGuardia Airport LaGuardia Airport (IATA: LGA, ICAO: KLGA, FAA LID: LGA) is an airport serving New York City, New York, United States, located on the waterfront of Flushing Bay, and borders the neighborhoods of Astoria, Jackson Heights and East Elmhurst in the borough beginning Dec. 1, 1994. The airline currently serves the market with three round-trip flights on 34 passenger Saab 340 aircraft. The airline will resume seasonal service in the Bangor to LaGuardia market on May 1, 1995 with two round-trip flights with Saab 340 aircraft. The flights will be timed to connect with Delta Air Lines service to Atlanta, Florida and beyond. The airline looks forward to resuming nonstop HP's brand name for its fault-tolerant servers, which range in size from four CPUs to 4,000 CPUs. The NonStop line was created by Tandem Computers, which was acquired by Compaq, which later became part of HP. service in the marketplace in May of 1995.
