Business Express Airlines makes an announcement.


PORTSMOUTH, N.H.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Nov. 8, 1994--Business Express Airlines, operating as The Delta Connection, announced today that the airline will suspend service between Bangor International Airport Bangor International Airport (IATA: BGR, ICAO: KBGR) is a public airport located 3 miles (5 km) west in the city of Bangor, in Penobscot County, Maine, United States. It is owned and operated by the City of Bangor and was formerly Dow Air Force Base.  and New York's LaGuardia Airport LaGuardia Airport (IATA: LGA, ICAO: KLGA, FAA LID: LGA) is an airport serving New York City, New York, United States, located on the waterfront of Flushing Bay, and borders the neighborhoods of Astoria, Jackson Heights and East Elmhurst in the borough  beginning Dec. 1, 1994.

The airline currently serves the market with three round-trip flights on 34 passenger Saab 340 aircraft. The airline will resume seasonal service in the Bangor to LaGuardia market on May 1, 1995 with two round-trip flights with Saab 340 aircraft. The flights will be timed to connect with Delta Air Lines service to Atlanta, Florida and beyond. In making the announcement, Warren Wilkinson, Director of Marketing for the airline, stated, "The seasonal reduction in service between Bangor and LaGuardia conincides with the seasonal decline in traffic in Bangor to New York New York, state, United States
New York, Middle Atlantic state of the United States. It is bordered by Vermont, Massachusetts, Connecticut, and the Atlantic Ocean (E), New Jersey and Pennsylvania (S), Lakes Erie and Ontario and the Canadian province of
 market. The airline looks forward to resuming nonstop HP's brand name for its fault-tolerant servers, which range in size from four CPUs to 4,000 CPUs. The NonStop line was created by Tandem Computers, which was acquired by Compaq, which later became part of HP.  service in the marketplace in May of 1995. Passengers can take advantage of the eleven nonstops to Boston with connections to LaGuardia we provide along with our partner Delta Air Lines."
