Business Education Division report: mission and purpose of the division.


The mission Of the ACTE ACTE Association for Career and Technical Education (formerly American Vocational Association)

 Business Education Division is to provide support and information for business education programs in preparing people for the international and domestic workforce, furthering education, and understanding She American American, river, 30 mi (48 km) long, rising in N central Calif. in the Sierra Nevada and flowing SW into the Sacramento River at Sacramento. The discovery of gold at Sutter's Mill (see Sutter, John Augustus) along the river in 1848 led to the California gold rush of  and global economic systems. The purpose is as follows:

1. Promote high professional standards among the membership;

2. Promote career and technical education, emphasizing the role of business education;

3. Promote the total concept of education for and about business;

 of Business Education is a professional Organization that is specifically involved with problems and concerns of classroom educators. It was founded several years ago by teachers to combine the talents of al persons associated with the classroom function of business education. Its membership includes both secondary and postsecondary educators. It is the intent and purpose of NACEBE to develop the business education area for the common good of all vocational-technical education.

The purpose of NACEBE is to promote, develop and upgrade business education throughout the United States United States, officially United States of America, republic (2005 est. pop. 295,734,000), 3,539,227 sq mi (9,166,598 sq km), North America. The United States is the world's third largest country in population and the fourth largest country in area.  and surrounding sur·round

NASBE NASBE National Association of State Boards of Education : The National Association of Supervisors of Business Education is an organization of business education supervisors who are direct employees of a state, region or local education agency. The purpose of this organization is to further the cause of business education and the welfare of the field and professional members. The association is affiliated with ACTE and works cooperatively with the National Business Education Association and others as voted by the active membership.

NATEBE: The National Association of Teacher Educators for Business Education is dedicated to the planning, developing and sustaining of programs for teacher education in business education Through meetings, discussion groups, and research and development, this organization seeks to promote teaching careers in business education and supports the mission and goals of the ACTE Business Education Division: Membership includes teacher educators and graduate students who are involved in business education. The group meets annually at the ACTE Convention, publishes a newsletter; and sponsors the Business Digest Digest: see Corpus Juris Civilis.
