Creditors to collect on Shilo Inn loans

PORTLAND - A federal bankruptcy judge has ruled against Shilo Inns, allowing creditors to collect millions in unpaid loans to the hotel chain's 46 properties across the West.

The ruling Thursday allows the creditors to lay claim to some of the revenue generated from 27 Shilo Inns before and after Oct. 1, the day the properties defaulted on $159 million in loans, of which about $145 million hasn't been repaid.
