BB:BBNV BBNV Business Bank of Nevada ) reported continued growth for the period ended March 31, 1999, and the opening of its third branch in the fast-growing northwest area of Las Vegas Las Vegas (läs vā`gəs), city (1990 pop. 258,295), seat of Clark co., S Nev.; inc. 1911. In its First Quarter Report, the bank reported assets of $117 million, compared with $88 million for March 1998 and $108 million for December 1998. The bank's loan portfolio grew to $71 million, meeting expectations for the quarter, while deposits exceeded all expectations, reaching an all-time high of $106 million -- a 38 percent increase over the same period in 1998. The bank also reported a gross profit of $164,922 before taxes, despite the additional expenses incurred in the opening of the new branch and legal expenses associated with the ATM cash diversion.
