Business Bank of Nevada Names Former Nevada Governor, Prominent CPA and Real Estate Professionals to its Board of Directors.

LAS VEGAS--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Sept. 6, 2000

Business Bank of Nevada today announced that it has appointed four prominent Nevadans to its board of directors, including former Nevada Governor Bob List, Steven Coffey, managing partner of Coffey & Rader CPA Firm, and Thomas Johnson, president of Gold Dust Commercial Associates of Carson City.

"We are very excited to have these well-known and very accomplished individuals join our board of directors," said Jason Awad, chairman of the board of directors for Business Bank of Nevada. "Today's announcement further diversifies our board and provides us with a group of individuals who represent the type of small-to-medium size businesses we service. List's and Johnson's addition to the board also gives us a stronger presence in northern Nevada, where we will be expanding our branch network in the near future."

Awad added that with the three new board members, along with the other 10 existing members, Business Bank clearly has one of the most prominent and highly qualified bank boards of directors in Nevada. Governor List exemplifies that banking experience, having served 13 years on First Interstate Bank of Nevada's board of directors.

Governor List also served as head of Nevada from 1978 to 1982. Prior to becoming governor of the state, List was State Attorney General from 1970 to 1978. He also served as District Attorney of Carson City from 1966 to 1970. List is currently chief executive officer of the Robert List Company and is Of Counsel in the Law Firm of Beckley, Singleton, Jemison, Cobeaga and List. He's a board member for a number of companies, including the Venetian Resort Hotel and Casino, Clark and Sullivan Constructors, Cole Industries and Game Data Inc. List remains very active in civic and community service, serving as a member of the Governors Leadership Council on Drug Policy, and a member of the board of directors for the Great Basin National Park Great Basin National Park

The bank also announced today that Dr. Lee Brookshire and Dr. Dodd Hyer, two prominent members of the Las Vegas medical profession, are leaving the bank's board of directors. Both Brookshire and Hyer will join the bank's soon-to-be announced advisory board made up of several retired board members and other prominent Nevadans.
