: BBNV BBNV Business Bank of Nevada ) Tuesday announced that it has hired Ursula Prebezac, a 25-year veteran of the banking industry who has worked the majority of her career in the Lake Tahoe, Carson City and Minden/Gardnerville areas.

The bank hired Prebezac to be senior vice president and senior commercial loan officer for its Northern Nevada operation based in Carson City.

Prior to joining Business Bank, Prebezac worked for Colonial Bank Colonial Bank, a subsidiary of Colonial Bancgroup Inc. NYSE: CNB, is headquartered in Montgomery, Alabama. Colonial Bank has 300 branches in the states of Alabama, Georgia, Florida, Nevada and Texas. Its common stock is traded on the NYSE under the symbol CNB.  at Stateline as the area president for Lake Tahoe and Carson City. Serving in this capacity, Prebezac was responsible for promoting and representing the bank, as well as managing a staff of approximately 20 people, which consisted of branch managers, loan officers and other lending personnel.

She also worked for Colonial Bank's predecessor, First Security Bank, as a commercial loan officer.

Prebezac moved to Nevada and the Stateline area in 1982 and began working for Nevada Banking Co. in early 1983. Nevada Banking Co. was the predecessor to First Security Bank. Over the last two years, bank acquisitions have resulted in Prebezac working for three different financial institutions from the same location.

Prior to moving to Nevada, Prebezac worked for Glastonbury Bank & Trust Co. as the assistant treasurer and branch manager.

) and Sheshunoff, including a senior loan officer affiliation program. She is actively involved in the community and has served as a member of the Tahoe/Douglas Chamber of Commerce, Republican Women, the Northern Nevada Development Authority, and Soroptimist International.

The bank's Carson City branch is two and half years old and has over $55 million in total deposits. Opening for business in December 1999, the branch topped the $35 million mark in deposits by the end of its first year of operation. The branch has 11 employees and is located at 1811 East College Parkway and Goni Road, which is near the new Highway 395 bypass.
