Business Bank of Nevada Hires New Commercial Loan Officer.

LAS VEGAS--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Oct. 4, 2001

Business Bank of Nevada today announced that it has hired longtime banking professional Jack Hice as its newest commercial loan officer.

Hice, a 28-year veteran of the banking profession, will be located at Business Bank's Maryland Parkway branch at the 3885 South Maryland Parkway, near the northwest corner of Flamingo Road.

As a commercial loan officer for Business Bank, Hice will be responsible for loan underwriting, relationship and risk management, customer retention and business development of existing and new clients. Hice will work very closely with the branch manager of the Maryland Parkway branch to underwrite and generate new loans.

Prior to joining Business Bank, Hice worked for California Federal Bank California Federal Bank, often abbreviated to "Cal Fed", was a savings and loan bank in California. It existed from 1926 until 2002, when its parent company Golden State Bancorp was acquired by Citigroup, resulting in the bank being merged into Citibank.  as a Business Banking officer. He's also worked for several other financial institutions in the Las Vegas valley, including Nevada State Bank and Community Bank of Nevada. His banking career began in Los Angeles, California, in 1973 with Security Pacific Bank. His banking career in California also includes working for West America Bank, Union Bank and Community Bank.

Hice is a graduate of Santa Ana College Santa Ana College is a community college located at the corner of Bristol and Seventeenth streets in Santa Ana, California, USA. In 1915, Santa Ana Junior College opened its doors to 25 students as a department of Santa Ana High School.  in Santa Ana, California Santa Ana is the most populous city in Orange County, California and is the county seat. It lies approximately 10 miles inland from the Pacific Ocean, on the largely seasonal Santa Ana River. , with a degree in Business Administration. He also received a degree in Business Administration from the Pacific Coast Banking School at the University of Washington in Seattle. Hice is actively involved in community-based organizations, including the Las Vegas Chamber of Commerce and the Asian Chamber of Commerce.
